Pruning Tea Roses
Note that this post is about Tea roses, not Hybrid Teas! If you have Lady Hillingdon, Sombreuil, Gloire de Dijon or Mrs. Dudley Cross, you have a Tea rose, a type that was popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries. They have a loose, leggy growth that is a challenge to prune.
Here is a great article about pruning teas by Cassandra Bernstein: http://rosefog.us/PrunedRoses/PrunedRoses.htm
